Cabin Rental Policies

ALL RENTERS MUST STOP AND CHECK IN AND REGISTER AT THE PARK OFFICE AS THEY ENTER THE CAMPGROUND. VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL VEHICLES STAYING IN PARK.

NO SMOKING AND NO PETS PERMITTED IN CABINS!

FIREWOOD ALERT:
When camping or picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood. DON’T bring firewood from home. This is to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ask Borer and other forest pests, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is NON CERTIFIED heat-treated wood.

Rental Season: 

• Cabin Rental season starts March 24th and ends November 30th.
• There is a 2 night minimum requirement on all CABIN rentals.

 Minimum Age Requirement:

• The minimum age of 21 years is required to reserve/rent a cabin
• The person who books the cabin must occupy it the entire rental period.
  • Sub-letting or parents renting on the behalf of their underage children is NOT PERMITTED.

Payment, Prepaid Deposit and Refund Policy:

• NO CASH ONLY PAYMENTS for rentals will be accepted (no exceptions).
• Reservations require FULL PAYMENT to be made by credit card in order to guarantee your reservation.
• The deposit along with the signed rental agreement, must be received before the rental reservation will be confirmed/secured.
• The Renter agrees that he/she will NOT claim any charge backs or credits from his/her credit company for any fees charged to his/her credit card, including but not limited to deposit, rental charges, damage charges or security deposit fees.

Security Deposit:

• Prior to your arrival, a credit card must be given to keep on file for a security deposit to protect against damages to property.
• Renter is required to provide a rental agreement which will need to be reviewed and signed by lessee prior to receiving any cabin keys.
• Charges will only be applied to your credit card if necessary and you will be notified of any charges.
• Renters are financially responsible for all damages and any additional cleaning fees. Should the park staff, upon your departure, find the room in unacceptable condition, your credit card will be charged for extra cleaning, damage repairs, and replacement of missing contents or any other expenses resulting from agreement violations such as smoking in the cabin or bringing animals into the cabin.

Cancellation Policy:

• ALL cancellations must be made 3 days before the scheduled arrival time.
  • Cancellations made after the 3 day before deadline has passed will receive NO REFUNDS.
  • Reservation dates may be modified/altered/changed to different date(s) if requested in advance of the 3 day before scheduled arrival time deadline.
    AFTER the 3 day before scheduled arrival time deadline NO changes can be made to the scheduled arrival time.

      Scheduled to Arrive on Monday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Friday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Tuesday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Saturday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Wednesday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Sunday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Thursday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Monday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Friday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Tuesday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Saturday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Wednesday
      Scheduled to Arrive on Sunday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Thursday
  • ANY and ALL REFUNDS require that a refund form be filled out and then after approval and processing a refund check will be issued and mailed from the courthouse.

Occupancy:

• The number of persons occupying the rental cabin shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation application.
• If additional persons are added after your reservation is secured you must inform the office upon arrival and charges will be added as necessary.
  • One Bedroom Cabin pricing is for up to 4 people
    • Up to 2 additional people can be added at $6.00 per day for each person. ( 6 Total Maximum)
  • Two Bedroom Cabin pricing is for up to 6 people
    • Up to 4 additional people can be added at $6.00 per day for each person. (10 Total Maximum)

Check-in and Check-out times: 

• Check-in is any time after 4 PM on the scheduled day of arrival.
• Check-out is prior to 11 AM the day of your scheduled day of departure.
• LATE Check-outs may result in an additional rental day being charged to the account on file.
