CAMPING POLICIES
ALL CAMPERS MUST STOP AND CHECK IN – REGISTER AT THE PARK OFFICE AS THEY ENTER THE CAMPGROUND. VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL VEHICLES STAYING IN CAMPGROUND.
FIREWOOD ALERT:
When camping or picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood. DON’T bring firewood from home. This is to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ask Borer and other forest pests, the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is NON CERTIFIED heat-treated wood.
Camping Season:
- The camping season for 2023 starts April 1st and ends November 6th.
- The camping peak season is from May 12th through September 18th.
- Camping check In Time is after 2 pm and Check Out Time before 1 pm
- There is a 2 day minimum reservation requirement that applies to all campsite rentals.
- There is a 3 day minimum requirement during all Holiday weekends.
- Walk-ins are allowed** and can camp for 1 night if they arrive ready to camp (no scheduling ahead – 1st come 1st serve)

Payment & Refund Policy:
- Reservations for campsites can only be created online at http://pcparkky.com
- There are NO Discounts on Holidays or Scheduled Events.
- Discounts are ONLY applied to Daily Rates.
- ONLY ONE DISCOUNT PER SITE (no compounding of discounts)
- NO Discounts on Primitive Sites
- NO Discount on weekly, monthly or seasonal rates.
- If camping reservation is for multiple sites then all sites must be paid for at same time.
- All RV campsites require a Payment in Full to confirm the reservation.
- ALL campsites are RESERVED ONLINE or will be appointed by park office. NO On-site self selection of campsites.
- Cancellations of a reservation must be done 3 days before the booked reservation date in order to obtain any type of refunds.
- Cancellations less than 3 days before the booked reservation date will receive NO REFUND.
- Modifications to a booked reservation can be made if done at least 3 days before arrival date of scheduled reservation.

Scheduled to Arrive on Monday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Friday
Scheduled to Arrive on Tuesday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Saturday

Scheduled to Arrive on Thursday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Monday
Scheduled to Arrive on Friday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Tuesday
Scheduled to Arrive on Saturday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Wednesday
Scheduled to Arrive on Sunday-Cancel/Reschedule by previous Thursday
- ANY and ALL REFUNDS require that a refund form from the park office to be filled out and processed. After processing a refund check will be issued and mailed from the county courthouse.
Occupancy:
- Campsite pricing is for 4 people (16 years and over), and 2 vehicles.
- Children 15 and under stay free and do not count toward total number of occupants on a campsite.
- If additional people or cars are added there is an additional charge of $2.00 each per night.
- The MAXIMUM is 6 people per campsite and 4 vehicles.
- No more than one RV camper allowed per campsite.
- RV sites can accommodate ONE Camper, One Camper and One Tent or TWO Tents. (Tents must be on site pad and not in grass)
Check-in and Check-out:
- Check in time is 2 PM and check-out is any time before 1 PM.
Returned Check Fee:
- Returned check fee of $50.00 will apply to ANY and ALL returned or NSF checks.
